What to Expect
Parking - When you arrive on our campus, you will be greeted by our team of friendly parking attendants. They will be dressed in bright, safety jackets and won’t be hard to spot. Their goal is to get you parked safely and as close to the entrance of The Word Dome as possible and in enough time to experience worship service. If you need special accommodations, please feel free to let one of them know.
Welcome Home – Once inside, our smiling greeters will be one of the first people you see. An usher will lead you to a seat, point out one of our several restrooms or answer any question you have. You can also stop by our Welcome Desk. There is a helpful attendant ready to meet your needs.
Live Worship Music – Once services begins, get ready for a dynamic worship experience featuring wonderful live music from our Fine Arts Ministry. Our praise and worship team often performs a mix of contemporary Christian and popular gospel tunes. To better serve you, the lyrics are displayed on the big screens. In addition to singing, we occasionally feature praise dancers, mini-dramatic skits and will have a special visit from a national recording artist from time to time. As a non-denominational, Word of Faith church, we believe in the experience of praying in the Holy Spirit, the laying on of hands, and healing for the sick.
Teaching from Dr. Michael D. Moore – Our pastor teaches from the Word of God using simple, easy-to-understand language. He often gives practical tips and key steps to help guide you through everyday living. Congregants normally bring their Bibles to church to follow along. And you may see several people taking notes.
Kids – Children’s Ministry is available every Sunday for families with little ones. Classes are held at The Bridge. We provide a kid-friendly environment staffed with cheery, background-checked workers who are trained to teach your child the Word of God on their level.
What if I would like to bring my child into service? Although we encourage parents to take advantage of our wonderful Children's Ministry, we certainly welcome your child in our services. If you have a baby, you will be directed to a special baby section of the sanctuary. If he/she becomes fussy, an usher or greeter can assist you.
Teens – For youth in grades 7-12, we offer a Student Ministry service each Sunday. They meet at Campus A, located at 800 Quebec Drive. (Note: You should plan to drop them off before heading to the Word Dome at Campus B which is a one-minute drive away.)They will get spiritual nuggets from our dynamic youth minister so they can be armed to face peer pressures with the Word of God.
What to wear – We are a family church with members and visitors from all walks of life. You will see people dressed in everything from three-piece suits to blue jeans. Don’t stress about what to wear, we invite you to come as you are.
Will I be asked to stand and/or identify myself as a visitor? We only ask so that we can give you a warm Faith Chapel welcome. But you do not have to stand. We promise not to embarass you.
Membership or Decision for Christ - At the end of most services, you will have a choice to make four decisions: 1) To receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, 2) receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, 3) rededicate your life to Christ, or 4) become a member of Faith Chapel Christian Center. After you've made a decision, our Altar team will provide additional direction to you.
New Members Class - If your decision is to become a member of Faith Chapel, it is important to go through the New Members Class before officially joining the church. Listen to Pastor Mike explain why it is important to go through the New Members Class. Download the mp3.
Accessibility for Persons with Physical Challenges - At every location, we also offer access to our building for people with a disability or handicap. The facilities we use feature close parking access for those registered with the DMV as a person with a handicap as well as ramps and elevators throughout all facilities. We also offer special seating locations and chairs for those with special needs. If you have a question regarding the accessibility of our facilities, please contact us.
