A.C.E. Mentoring Program
DYS announces the launch of A.C.E Mentoring. A.C.E. (Another Caring Example) is a direct serve mentoring program through DYS for Birmingham boys and girls ages 8 -17 years old. This is a great opportunity for youth to participate in a program that focuses on developing adolescents socially and emotionally.

EVOLUTION CLASSES FOR INCOMING 7th GRADE STUDENTS
Evolution is an awesome discipleship program for incoming 7th grade students.
Although not a requirement to attend, Evolution was created to make it easier for your 7th grade teen to get to know what Student Ministry is about & continue to grow in every way. Classes will be offered during the teaching portion of the service with a diverse teaching team composed of teens, young adults and adults. Topics taught include: salvation, understanding adolescence and the changes they will be experiencing, dealing with bullies, dealing with peer pressure, understanding and overcoming low self-esteem, developing a quiet time, and assessing their God-given gifts and talents.
