I AM IN CONTROL OF MY EMOTIONS

I confess that I am exercising more and more control in my spiritual, emotional, physical, financial and social life.

Restraint, moderation, temperance, discipline and self-control -
All these Godly traits are becoming a part of who I am, how I behave and how I carry myself each and everyday; no matter who I am around or where I am. I am committed to look like Jesus.

The nature and character of Jesus are being developed in me; the Spiritual Fruit of temperance is changing me and bringing peace in every situation that I encounter.

I am no longer frustrated and full of guilt.

I am balanced as well as moderate in everything I do.

I say NO to excesses.

I say NO to sexual sin in any form.

I say NO to kissing.  I say NO to fondling.

I say NO to masturbation.

I say NO to porn of any form.

I say NO to homosexual acts.

I say NO to the world and its’ influence

I say YES to God’s guidelines for sex.

God has given me grace to attain all that I confess.
I have the Grace of God in my life. I declare this by faith, in Jesus’ name.

I AM SELF-CONFIDENT AND HAVE HIGH SELF-ESTEEM

Jeremiah 1:4 The Lord said to me, I knew you before you were formed within your mother’s womb

God you made me perfect, so I don’t think about what other people say about me. I value you and your words. You call me beautiful! You call me the apple of your eye! You hold me in your hand and think about me all the time. You love me so much that you sent your son Jesus to die for me. I keep my trust in you and I believe your word. You call me your own and I belong to you. You love me above all else in the world, so I don’t call myself ugly, or fat or stupid. I won’t compare myself to anyone because you made me just the way I am. I am good-looking, smart, lovable, rich and the love of God’s life. You have chosen me, formed me, made me, loved me and I will believe your words that you have said, just for me. In Jesus name, Amen.

I CAN CONTROL CURSING

Ephesians 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. (New International Version)

I do not use profanity or negative words to communicate. My speech is controlled by God. I recognize the importance of positive speech whether I am in the presence of others or alone. When talking with others I do not curse. God provides me with words that clearly communicate my thoughts and ideas without using profanity. I do not curse at people. I recognize that it is rude and disrespectful. I make the choice to use words that build people up and encourage them. Even in situations where I am upset, angry, disappointed, or hurt, I don’t allow profanity to come out of my mouth. I do not watch television shows or movies that have an excessive amount of profanity. I refuse to make friends with people that curse. God has given me the power to be free from profanity. I choose to please God with my word.

I RESPECT AUTHORITY

Romans 13:1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

I understand that authority was created by God. Authority is a good thing. I don’t despise my parents, teachers, police officers, and all others that have authority. I submit to rules when they are fair and have my best interest in mind. When those in authority do not follow the rules and are unfair, I use wisdom when addressing the situation. I am always respectful of leaders regardless of their opinions and ideas. I voice my opinions and ideas to leadership with the intent to make things better; it’s never to be argumentative. I recognize that by submitting to Godly authority I place myself in a position to receive God’s best.

I CHOOSE TO WAIT

I am a child of the Most High God. I am devoted to Him in both body and spirit.  I seek Him daily.  I put my trust in Him.  I live for God and seek God now while I am young.  When I am older, I will not depart from Him.  I was born at this time to glorify God.  Because my body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, I do not abuse it or use it to bring shame to God.  I resist lust with the word of God and fleeing fornication.  I put on love, obedience, self control and do not receive condemnation.  I allow no one to despise my youth because I am an example in speech, life, love, purity, and faith.  God favors me.  I walk in His purpose.  I am what He says I am, and I can do what He says I can do.  I do not let sin rule my life as if it were my master because I am ruled by God’s kindness, favor and mercy.  I am a leader; therefore, I conform to Christ, not the crowd.  I am filled with honor, wisdom, and integrity.  I am the devil’s worst nightmare:  a fired-up sold-out holy teen of God.

Prayer of Repentance

Dear Father, I repent for not being an example in purity and respect for you and myself.  1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins You are faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.  Thank You for forgiving me and receiving me back into fellowship with You in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

I HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE

Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

I have a first class attitude! I see the best in every situation no matter how dark things may seem. Nothing can steal my joy. Every morning that I awake, I get excited! Because God is my source and my protection, things must work out for me! Everyone that I come in contact with recognizes the joy and peace that I have because of my great attitude. My great attitude transforms those that are around me. I set the tone in every room that I enter. My great attitude opens doors for me and gives me access to the very best that God has to offer!

I AM

Father, Your Word says, You will pour out Your Spirit upon all flesh, You are now, pouring out Your spirit upon all flesh, our sons and daughters prophesy now; they speak forth your word now; they foretell of your word, now!

I speak Your Word now! I see visions. I am a visionary. I am illuminated with Your Word.  I will not allow no man to despise my youth. I am an example through Your grace in my words, my conduct, in relating to people, in my spirit, in my faith walk and in pureness. I was called before conception in my mother’s womb. My mouth is filled with the words You command me to speak in every arena. I take my place for such as time as this in the kingdom! I do what is right in Your sight! I do not turn to the right or the left! My heart is tender before You. I humble myself before You. I have been given knowledge, dreams, skill and wisdom by You to operate in this body as You see fit.  I am uniquely created!

I CAN DO WELL IN SCHOOL

I do well in school. I have the mind of Christ, and because I have the mind of Christ, I have A’s in all of my classes. I am a straight A student, the head of my class and not the tail. I am ten times better than the students in my class. I have more understanding than all my teachers because I keep your word. I have favor with my teachers and classmates. I have good study habits in the name of Jesus. As I study hard and do my part, I thank you Lord that you help me to remember everything I study. Even if I am struggling, I do not worry, because I know you will help me Lord. I do not fail classes because you have given me your wisdom and I can learn all things through your help. I am smart; I have wisdom; and I understand all things in Jesus’ name. Amen!

I REFUSE TO BE BULLIED

Mark 12:29-31

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Because I am valued by God, I value myself and refuse to be bullied. I take appropriate actions to correct all situations that involve bullies. I will not stand for ridicule, mental or physical abuse, nor do I stand by and watch bullies take advantage of other people. I am bold enough to tell those in authority about bullies. I also refuse to be a bully. I value people and will not use my influence or position in life to hurt others in any way. Jesus commands us to love. I will not tolerate bullying nor will I bully others.

I HAVE THE FINANCES FOR COLLEGE

Father, in the name of your son Jesus, I confess Your word over my finances this day. As I do this, I say with my mouth and believe in my heart, and know that Your word will not return to me empty. It will accomplish what it says it will do.

Therefore, I believe in the name of Jesus that all of my college financial needs are met, according to Philippians 4:19. I believe I have more than enough finances for my tuition, room & board, books, supplies, clothes, transportation, activities, food and personal items that I will have need of.

I thank You for every favor and earthly blessing, and for sending godly men and women, full of your wisdom, across my path, to educate me concerning scholarships and other financial assistance that is available.

I am a tither and a giver, therefore You are speaking to men to give to me, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. I trust You with my whole heart and refuse to look toward my circumstances, or my resources. I am fully persuaded that what You have promised, You are also able to perform.

Father, because You have given me authority over all the ability of the devil, right now, I bind the hands of the enemy over my finances. I speak to you satan, and every demonic host and forbid you from hindering finances from coming to me.

I thank You Father, that Your angels are now free to minister for me, and bring in the necessary finances for college.

THANK YOU FOR BEING MY PROVIDER!!

8 STEPS TO ANSWERED PRAYER

Petition Prayer - the Prayer of Faith - Mark 11:24

This kind of prayer is engaged in when the believer makes a “personal” request of the Father God based on a promise in the Word of God.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

1. Decide what you want from God.  -  James 1:5-8

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.”

  • Be specific and definite.
  • Operate within your level of faith or according to the law of growth. (Mark 4:28; I Samuel 17:32-36)
  • Find Scripture that promises the answer you need. (I John 5:14-15)
  • Ask the Father in Jesus’ name for the thing(s) you desire. (John 16:23-24)

2. Believe that you receive when you pray.  Mark 11:24

Note:  You have to believe you have it (spiritual fact) before you get it (natural fact)

3. Bind Satan over your request and loose the angels to cause your desire to come to pass. Matthew 18:18

18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

4. Guard your mind against doubt.  Matthew 14:22-32

5. Cast down mental pictures of defeat. II Corinthians 10:3-5

3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

6. Meditate on the promises – think constantly on the promise on which you have based the answer to your prayer. Proverb 4:20-23

7. Develop a mental picture of success. Remember, thoughts are governed by observation, association and teaching.

Hebrews 11:17-19; II Kings 6:15-17, Mark 4:24; 5:40; I Samuel 17:10-11, 16, 23-24; Romans 10:17

8. Constantly thank God for the answer and for what He has done in your life. Philippians 4:6

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Note:  Constantly thinking on the love, mercy, goodness and blessings of God

in the past will boost your faith. If God was faithful to you in the past, there is no reason why He won’t be faithful in the present and future.

  • Make sure that every word and action relative to what you have asked God for, agrees with your prayer. (James 2:20-22)
  • Corresponding actions - actions that match what you believe. You cannot have full corresponding actions until you have full manifestation.

(Example: Don’t stop taking medicine or discard your eyeglasses; don’t write the check until the money is in the bank, etc.)

  • Speak words that agree with or match what you believe you receive. James 3:10

10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
