Got ideas? Are you CREATIVE? We are looking for teens who would like to plan activities and events to make Student Ministry LIVE! If that's you, be a part of the Student Ministry "Out the Box" Creative Team!
We’ll meet 1-2 times per month to create & plan LIVE Sunday services that go along with Minister Alondio's messages and special events for teens inside and outside Student Ministry walls!
We do this through:
- Creating a FUN and WELCOMING atmosphere in Student Ministry
- Serving as Sunday MCs
- Planning special events and Sunday service elements
- Making videos to promote our upcoming events
- Getting the word out about Student Ministry to invite your friends to come to Sunday services and our events!
REQUIREMENTS
1. Be saved and spirit-filled!
2. Commit to meeting 1-2 times a month after service from 12:30-2 PM to plan events
Meetings are normally held on 2nd Sundays
3. If three (3) meetings are missed and/or you have unexcused absences, you will not be able to be apart of the Creative Team
4. Be a team player

In celebration of the contributions of African Americans past and present and February’s Black History Month, Regions is proud to offer the Regions Riding Forward Scholarship. If you are a high school senior who resides within Regions’ footprint and will be attending college this fall, encourage them to participate in an essay contest for a chance to win one of 25 college scholarships of $5,000 each. Dependents of Regions’ associates are eligible to enter the contest.

The Birmingham Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is seeking applicants for the 2012 T. L. Hale Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior male student from a Birmingham City School that matriculates toward a college degree. They seek to identify a young man with good character, community focused, and good academic credentials.
The Birmingham Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is seeking applicants for the 2012 T. L. Hale Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior male student from a Birmingham City School that matriculates toward a college degree. They seek to identify a young man with good character, community focused, and good academic credentials.
The T. L. Hale Scholarship and Benevolent Fund is a not-for-profit corporation organized exclusively to fund and support organizations for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes.
The fund has provided financial assistance to students who have completed the course requirements of the Birmingham (AL) Public School System and have aspirations of attending college.
REQUIREMENTS:
Potential candidates should complete the scholarship application along with a one page essay on why they feel they should receive the scholarship. The essay should contain information about the applicant including school activities, community service projects, career goals and potential major. There should also be some content describing the importance of higher education as seen by the applicant.
The deadline for submission is March 8, 2012. The winner and school will be notified in April and arrangements will be made to recognize the winner at the school during a scheduled scholarship award program.
