About the Event
Join us for a walking tour of an urban community farm. See a high tunnel structure as well as other conservation farming practices up close and personal! See vegetables and fruits growing in their natural setting and inside the high tunnel. Participate in conservation and food safety demonstrations! Learn about programs and resources in breakout sessions from experts like AL A&M University Small Farms Research Center, USDA-FSA, USDA-NRCS, & Jefferson County Conservation District. Learn from local farmers!
